Santosh Banisetty.

I recently graduated with my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with a concentration in intelligent systems and robotics at the University of Nevada Reno. I worked with Dr. David Feil-Seifer (awesome mentor) Socially Assistive Robotics Group (SARG), utilizing AI for Human-Robot Interaction for Socially Assistive Robotics applications. 

I worked as a postdoctoral researcher with Tom Williams (awesome mentor) in the MIRROR Lab at Colorado School of Mines. Apart from research, I am also actively involved in STEM outreach activities. Prior to Ph.D., I received my Master's in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Controls and Robotics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I enjoy technology, especially IoT, Robotics, and connected autonomous transportation. I love technology leadership roles where I can utilize my skills to commercialize a technology; I bootstrapped an IoT startup and played an important role in its merger with AntarIoT.
 
My interests lie in software, hardware, and everything in between; I worked on numerous hobby and class projects. Recently worked on an electric motorcycle mule based on a scrapped Honda Karishma chassis. During my time at UNR, I enjoyed participating in Hackathons (1st place Microsoft Hackathon) and Entrepreneurship competitions (Finalist at Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition 2018 - out of 54 teams).

 

I am an entrepreneur, currently working as a technology lead at my startup.
